Agrarian Awards Set For September
Launched by The Ministry of Agriculture, Marine Resources and Family. Island Affairs, the first-ever Agrarian Awards will be held at Margaritaville on September 16. With Aliv as one of the show’s sponsors, the event promises cash prizes to winning farmers. Minister of Agriculture, Marine Resources, and Family Island Affairs, Clay Sweeting says nominations are open now. Criteria and submissions can be made through the Agricultural Development Organization.

- Male and Female Farmer of the Year wins $10,000 each.
- Youth Male and Female Farmer wins $5,000 each.
- Backyard Farmer wins $2,500 through People’s Choice on MOAMRFIA Facebook Page
- Schools and Communities win up to $5,000 in supplies.
